Potential for Brain Damage = High (Go to about 56, 37 and kill the ethereum humanoids there. They will drop Ethereum Essences. Collect a few of these and clear an area to work with. Once you got a clear area take the Ethereum Essence potion. That allows you to see the mana eel things you need to kill for 30 seconds. They die fast and you should be able to kill at least 2 per potion. They drop the quest item you need. For me the drop rate from the eel things was 100%.
One important thing..
When the potion wears off the corpses of the mana eels will despawn so loot immediately on killing the worms, don't nuke worms till the potion wears off expecting to be able to pick them up afterwards. You need to kill small invisible mobs by drinking Ethereum essence, that drops from mobs, then you can see and kill them in 30 sec.)
